Beijing Pine Valley International Golf Club is one of the largest golf clubs which open solely for members only throughout Beijing. The club which covers an area of 6400 Mu and designed by G.A. Design Company is located at Changping District of Beijing.
The golf club is officially opened in September of 2002. Besides serving as the host venue for Pine Valley Tournament of 2007 and 2008, it also successfully organized the Volkswagen Master – China 2004, 2005 Johnnie Walker Classic, 2005 World Celebrity Golf and etc. The Golden Bear Course, an 18-hole course with 7216 yard court length, is named after the nickname of Jack William Nicklaus. The beautiful landscape which integrated with desert view has ensured the golfing experience within the compound to be a wonderful one. Each of the 18 holes is interesting and worth to try it out one by one. In between, the most famous hole would be the 8th hole which was awarded the Top 10 best holes design of China. It is a Par-3 hole with 189 yard court length. The water surface on the right side as well as the sand area which surrounding the hole has outcome with a sense of adventure other than just having fun.
The 9-hole Light Court is a masterpiece of Jack William Nicklaus and Junior Nicklaus. It is a standard 36-pole course with 3652 yard length. The most advance adjustable lighting system has been applied throughout the court in order to ensure an international quality assurance for the golf course. Manmade lakes, white washed sands as well as natural scene have made the landscape of the course to be perfect.
Nicklaus Course, a standard 72-pole course with 7508 length is officially opened in year 2007. The rank of difficulty of 18 holes as well as the unique landscaping is both the highlights of the course. Moreover, you may feel different scenery for each season throughout the years.
