Construction of the mausoleum started in January 1926, and completed in spring 1929. Dr Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum is located at the southern foot of Mount Xiaomaoshan of Mount Zhongshan.
The Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum is the tomb of the first Ming Dynasty emperor Zhu Yuanzhang and his queen. It lies at the northern foot of Purple Mountain in Nanjing. There are pine trees and cypresses, with a stream winding in the hills.

The Presidential Palace in Nanjing used to be the venue for the Office of the President of the Republic of China before the republic relocated to Taiwan in 1949.
Located over the Yangtze River at the northwestern side of Nanjing, Yangtze River Bridge is the first highway-cum-railway bridge designed and constructed solely within China that connecting Hanyang, Hankou and Wuchang which previously separated by the natural obstacle throughout the history of China
