Some of the events going on in Beijing this Saturday July 16th are Beijing Farmer’s Market and Bike sway meet. The farmers market will have a variety of fruits and vegetables that are much better than the ones sold on the street.
The farmers market will be open 9:30am to 12:30pm. Besides the framers selling their fruits and vegetables there will also be some fair-trade teas, cheese, jam, homemade soap and essential oils. It will be a great way to spend your Saturday morning.
After going to the farmers market you can head over to Bike Swap Meet. This will start at 10 am until 4pm. The Bike Swap Market is where people bring a variety of bike parts they want sell, trade, or buy. If someone wants to participate in selling bike parts have until tomorrow evening to register by emailing Shannon.
Both these activities will take place inside the South Gate of the Rose Garden (MeiGuiYuan), the subway that can be taken is Line 10 and get off at JianDeMen.
